(5) Why Did Judah Go into Exile in Babylon? What Specific Sins Led them Into Exile? SIN TWO: Idolatry, Shedding Innocent Blood & Human Sacrifice (2 Chronicles 33:1-9 & Ezekiel 8:1-17)

(i) Idolatry: Anything that takes man's devotion/attention/worship. They built altars, made paintings & statutes for gods in high places and worst of it, doin' same in God's Temple. Manasseh &the people of Judah rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah destroyed. He erected altars to the Baals & made Asherah poles &to all the starry hosts. He bowed down to them. He extended the idolatry to the Temple of the Lord. Prophet Ezekiel was shown many abominable & idolatrous things in His vision concerning the leaders of Judah; he saw this idol of jealousy in the entrance north of the gate of the altar. He was to see more detestable things; he saw a doorway, portrayed all over the walls were all kinds of crawling things and unclean animals and all the idols of Israel. In front of them stood seventy elders of Israel & Jaazaniah son of Shaphan was standing among them. Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol. WHAT COMES INTO MIND? THE CATHOLIC CHURCH! YES. ANY CHURCH, BE IT CATHOLIC, OR WHATEVER THAT BURNS INCENSE AND USES CANDLES, ROSARY, IMAGES & STATUTES IS FALSE.

As if that wasn't enough, God brought the prophet again to the entrance of the north gate of the house of the Lord & showed him a women sitting there, mourning the god Tammuz. Still, as if this wasn't enough, God again brought the prophet into the inner court of the house of the Lord, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, God showed him about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east (Ezekiel 8:16). What comes to mind? Islamic Religion. Yes! Muslims pray by facing the Sun from the East. ANY RELIGION THAT FACES THE EAST/THE SUN WHEN PRAYING IS FALSE; IT IS NOT PRAYING TO THE TRUE GOD BUT TO Allah (Sun god). PERIOD!

(ii) Divination, Shedding Innocent Blood & Human Sacrifice: They practiced divination; the King sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. We also read from 2Kings 24:3-4 testifies the sins of Manasseh (shedding innocent blood and idolatry) were one of the reasons Judah went into exile (Babylon). ''Surely these things happened to Judah according to the Lord’s command, in order to remove them from his presence because of the sins of Manasseh and all he had done, including the shedding of innocent blood. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord was not willing to forgive.'' WHAT RINGS A BELL? ISLAMIC RELIGION (MUSLIM EXTREMISTS), CONTRACT KILLING, CATHOLIC CHURCH (WHAT GOES ON IN THE COVENS; Some of the Women are Raped in the Name of Getting them married to Christ) & THEIR MASS (They believe by Taking The Mass, THE BREAD & WINE are turned into Jesus' REAL BODY & BLOOD, So they're Sacrificing Christ on their Altar), SECRET SOCIETIES (Illuminati, Freemasonry, Cults, Lodges, Occultism), ABORTION, ETC.

Finally, let's be reminded that, in these end times, the idols are not limited to statutes, rosary and images; It includes Anything we value MORE than GOD becomes. IT CAN BE MONEY, FAME, JOB, CHILDREN, SPOUSE, FRIENDSHIP, GAME/HOBBY, TV/RADIO PROGRAMME/SHOW, MOVIE, BOOKS, CAR, HOUSE, ETC. IF WE LOVE THESE THINGS, THEN THE LOVE OF GOD IS NOT IN US (1 John 2:15-17) If we're practicing any of the things we've learned so far today, GOD IS CALLING US..LET'S REPENT & COME OUT.

God willing, we shall see SIN THREE that Led Judah into Exile in Babylon.
