►THE TRUE CHURCH (THE BRIDE) OF CHRIST)►
A lot of LIES were, are, and will continue to be churned out regarding the TRUE CHURCH (BRIDE) that CHRIST Himself said He would build (Matthew 16:18); which He would also Come for. Please, the True Church/Bride IS NOT......
#1 The Roman Catholic Church; which believes she's the Cone that Christ referred to, and that Peter was the 1st Pope.
#2 The Church of Christ; which also believes she is the one that Christ was talking about.
#3 The Jehovah's Witnesses; with the belief that all are lost, except them. JW is a cult (a group claiming to be Christians but denying one or more of the essentials of the Christian faith).
#4 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon): It doesn't even qualify to be a church, let alone to be called True Church/Bride of Christ. Many, many of their teachings & doctrines stand on wrong footings. It is a cult.
#5 The SDA Church: which believes that she's the Church that God accepts.
Truth is, None of the above-mentioned churches, or any other local church can confidently say she is the True Church/Bride of Christ. Even a local church which has sound doctrines, undiluted, Bible-based teachings such as the Deeper Christian Life & others cannot say that it singularly represents the True Church/Bride of Christ.
Therefore, what is the True Church/Bride of Christ? It is made up of people who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal savior and have received eternal life. Thus, people who have been saved with their Names written in the Book of Life. These are the Elect, the chosen few. These people don' accept any doctrine/teaching just because their local Churches handed it to them. NO! They TEST everything, THROW the chuffs away and HOLD on to the TRUTH.
In the New Testament, Christ, the Bridegroom, has sacrificially and lovingly chosen the church to be His bride (Ephesians 5:25-27). Just as there was a betrothal period in biblical times during which the bride and groom were separated until the Final Rite/Wedding, so is the bride of Christ separated from her Bridegroom during the church age. Her duty during the betrothal period is to be faithful to Him (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:24). At the Second Coming of Christ, the church will be united with the Bridegroom, the official "wedding ceremony" will take place and, with it, the eternal union of Christ and His bride will be actualized (Revelation 19:7-9; 21:1-2).
At that time, all believers will inhabit the heavenly city known as New Jerusalem, also called “the holy city” in Revelation 21:2 and 10. The New Jerusalem is not the church, but it takes on the church’s characteristics. In his vision of the end of the age, the Apostle John sees the city coming down from heaven adorned “as a bride,” meaning that the inhabitants of the city, the redeemed of the Lord, will be holy and pure, wearing white garments of holiness and righteousness. Some have misinterpreted verse 9 to mean the holy city is the bride of Christ, but that cannot be because Christ died for His people, not for a city. The city is called the bride because it encompasses all who are the bride, just as all the students of a school are sometimes called “the school.”
We who are the bride of Christ wait with great anticipation for the day when we will be united with our Bridegroom/Christ. Until then, we remain faithful to Him and say with all the redeemed of the Lord, “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20). But until He comes, let's keep on spreading the undiluted WORD of GOD and expose the LIES.
