(THE BOOK OF DANIEL: Chapter One)...Message Five: Final Marks of an Overcomer: ''Humility, Faith & Victory Over Sin''

-->Humility: Daniel & his three friends were humble. It was therefore not a mistake when Daniel was selected to serve in the government of the king. If U and I will be selected to serve in God's kingdom, then we must prepare TO SERVE; NOT TO BE SERVED.

-->Faith: The 4 Hebrews had faith. They trusted in the provisions of God. They had faith in God to keep them healthy, even if they reject the ''appetizing'' royal meal. They believed God would deliver them from any danger: be it FIRE (the 3 boys' punishment) OR the LIONS' DEN (Daniel's punishment). And they resolved that even if God wldn't deliver them, they would still OBEY HIM. Faith isn't only abt trusting in God's provision & deliverance; It includes TRUSTING GOD EVEN IN THE ABSENCE OF HIS PROVISION & DELIVERANCE.

-->VICTORY OVER SIN: Daniel & his friends Resolved & were granted Victory over sin. GOD MADE THEM RIGHTEOUS. If U are a Christian & CONSTANTLY DEFEATED BY SIN, PLEASE DON' ACCEPT IT. U Must CRY UNTO GOD FOR GRACE TO OVERCOME THAT SIN. We learned God told Jeremiah “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find ONE PERSON who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I'll forgive this city.'' Jeremiah 5:1. Sadly, Jeremiah DIDN'T find ONE MAN: for Daniel & his 3 friends were children at the time. SO GOD SENT THE WHOLE NATION INTO EXILE. It's ENCOURAGING to KNOW that in BABYLON, GOD SAW FOUR PEOPLE (DANIEL & HIS 3 FRIENDS) AS RIGHTEOUS SO WHEN THE 70YRS WERE OVER, HE RAISED Another RIGHTEOUS MAN, DARIUS OF MEDO-PERSIA, TO DELIVER HIS PEOPLE FROM BABYLON & SENT THEM BACK to JERUSALEM. Note this: SIN sends GOD'S PEOPLE into Captivity/Babylon; RIGHTEOUSNESS/HOLINESS brings THEM BACK TO JERUSALEM. In the End Times, God is calling His people to Come out of Babylon Revelation 18:4 & When we listen to HIS VOICE & COME OUT, HE WILL SEND US TO, AND MAKE US PART OF, THE NEW JERUSALEM (THE BRIDE OF CHRIST). DON' U WANT TO BE PART OF THE TRUE BRIDE OF CHRIST? THEN REPENT & LIVE THE OVERCOMING LIFE.
